Omega-3 & Body Weight

 In Uncategorized

A recent study from the British Journal of Nutrition, looked into the relationship between omega-3 and body weight. The study included 124 participants of different weights.*

Blood samples were taken from the participants to check for levels of omega-3. Researchers found that the obese individuals had significantly lower plasma concentrations of omega-3, compared to healthy weight individuals. They suggest that omega-3 may contribute to a smaller waist and healthier BMI.

Viteyes® Omega-3 has 1,000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids daily: 300 mg eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 200 mg docosahexaenoic acid (EHA).
