MSM & Osteoarthritis

 In Uncategorized

At the 2007 World Congress on Osteoarthritis, a new joint health study to be published in the Osteoarthritis and Cartilage Journal was announced. University of California, San Diego studied the effects that MSM has on cartilage health and osteoarthritic knees.

The results of the study showed that MSM may act as a “barrier, shielding cartilage in early stages of osteoarthritis from further degeneration.” The UCSD researchers have more studies planned for 2008.
